Hubby & Sisters Birthday's Weekend..

It's Monday morning & I'm here at work sooo exhausted and catching a cold from this weekend.
Friday after work I threw our first party at our new house for my Hubby's birthday. My husbands family along with mine all came over, we ate, sang Happy Birthday and ate cake. Overall a great night.

On Saturday we went to club La Boom in Queens, NY to celebrate my Hubby 27th & sister Michelle's 17th birthdays. Had a great time with all our friends, dancing and having a few drinks. After the club we walked to a dinner nearby and had breakfast, where we sang happy birthday to my sister, & then made the trip back to Jersey. Here are a few pics I took with my cellphone, I was so in a rush I forgot my camera. The colors of the night were def black & gray, almost the whole crew wore black, I threw on sum black tights with a low cut black halter top, with a sparkly bra under and sum high heel platform pumps. Loved how my sister looked we went everywhere looking for the perfect outfit. Not to mention our shoes both killed our feet, we had to walk barefoot all the way back home. Thankfully for me my bf gave me his socks to walk in.

Insanity!!

As of today I have made a promise to myself to get fit. I am eating healthy, and started the Insanity challenge.

Insanity program is no joke, it really pushes your body to its limits, its tuff, which I like because I love something that challenges me and is different everyday. It's suppose to be a 60 day body changing program, which by the workouts is definitely possible.

I wake up at 5:45am and pop on the DVD and work out to one of the DVD according to the day, then shower in head off to work. Morning seems to be the only time I can fit in my schedule to workout since I work and come home to spend time with my son and husband. I really want to stay on this routine so hopefully for my birthday in November I can look real nice in a sexy dress. That's my goal!

New Place & more updates..

Afternoon all..

Great news, I finally moved into my new place. I really love how everything is coming together. All I did this weekend was unpack and buy all the essentials for our new home. My son Chris is like a lil bunny, jumping all ova the place, I guess he likes the bigger open space..
This weekend is my hubby's and sisters birthday, can't wait. All I know its gonna b an exhausting weekend.
I'll have pics of my new place up, along with the goodies I buy to wear for the weekend b-day parties..

This year, we've reached the 200th anniversary of our independence and we are so proud and excited to celebrate it tonight.

VMA 2010 Fashionistas

Hello again! Hope you all had a great weekend..
This past Sunday was the MTV Video Music Awards 2010, I saw parts of it, mostly the pre show. Since everyone is talking about the VMA's and what everyone was wearing, I decided to do a post about some of the crazy & outfits that I loved..

Top favorite: Ashley greene, classic white and black, sexy but just the right amount.


Selena Gomez: I find her to be so flawless, with her small frame, its hard not to look cute and beautiful. Any one else would of looked like an aluminum foil but she pulled it off.


Audrina Patridge: Sexy


Rosario Dawson:I like the latexy like dress look with the red lips combo


Katy Perry: I'm not to sure how I feel about this, I like the creativity and art behind the dress but I dnt think I would wear it. Katy worked it.


Kesha: I'm not loving it, but what can I saw its Kesha, she is a rocker rebel.


Lady Gaga: The star of the night, always makes a boom when she thinks about her outfits. I honestly love the color combinations, something like royal princess, its art.


But the most talked about dress was Lady Gaga's Meat dress. Thats just nasty to wear meat as a fashion.

But even if I could get thru the price could I picture myself in them without ending up with a broken ankle, Hmmm I don't think so. How bout you would you dare rock them or even walk in them??

Chocolate Brown.. yum

Im here stuck at my 8 to 5 job, longing for 5pm to come already so I can start my weekend. I have so many things to do this weekend, 3 of which I cant wait for.

After work I have a date with my stylist to turn me a chocolate brown head. I dont usually like pampering myself but, My hair is so damaged from the bleaching and reds I've had in the past that I feel its time for me to get a shade closer to my natural color & also for a serious cut. I'm thinking something along the lines of Jessica Alba's or Jennifer Lopez's browns. I'll post a pic so you see the turn out.

As you all know I am moving to a new apartment, so this weekend I am going to do alot of curtain and decor shopping for the new place.

And last but not least, my hubby is taking me shopping. We are both in need of some serious fall clothes and shoes & also bday outfit shopping for him.
Really really want some toms, and some oxford shoes :) Hope I find some.
Maybe I'll also trick him into going to Sephora in the City, hear alot of good things happening their, since fashion week is going on.

Nails! - Fall Colors

I came upon this article in a magazine.. which showed the new "it" colors to wear on your nails. Sunday morning I went with my mom to get mani/pedi, great place for a mother daughter moment. I was having trouble choosing a color that matched my mood, then I remembered the article, So I went for a pastel blue aka powder blue aka baby blue. I ended up loving this color, bright,girly, and not to over the top. Perfect!

Fashion Week in NYC(Lincoln Center)

Today I woke up at 6am and it was still dark outside, which only means that Fall is just around the corner. Today kicks off Fashion week in NYC, now in thier new location Lincoln Center. Fashion week reminds me of when I use to attend Berkeley College in the city and would pass thru Bryant park and see all the tents and models. Real excited to see some of the shows via my tv set. Hello fellow bloggers, Hope you all had a great labor day weekend. I'm here back at work after a nice exhausting 3 day weekend. My dear friend came over with her daughters from Queens NY and spent the weekend with me, we thru a BBQ, and at the nite time we went clubbing. I vowed to never drink alcohol again. Well that was my weekend. Now on another note, I'm preparing to move out into my new place. This weekend I'm going to be surrounded by boxes :(

Diet starts again this week, gotta get rite and and get it tight for my hubbys birthday. Doing the 3 day diet.. really works..

Revlon Just Bitten & Mini Drugstore Haul

I recently bought this new Revlon Just Bitten lip stain, I'm guessing inspired by the big Vampire craze going on. I got to say that I loved it, its color really stands out and stays on for a long time. Made my Hubby stop in his tracks.Seriously,lol. Only down fall is i feel like I'm using a Sharpie marker on my lips because of the way the applicator looks and feels. I also bought the competition from Covergirl which is not as bright but doesn't come with the clear balm vs the Revlon's Bitten.
